Central Mississippi Senior Photo Session | Cameron Bishop

I will have to admit I did get a little emotional during this shoot... Cameron's dad James Bishop and I went to high school together in Morton, Mississippi and my oldest son went to school with her, which is also a senior. Ashley Bishop (cam's mom) and I have grew to become close friends as well in the last several years, so sharing special moments with my seniors get to me some times. I know its hard to believe I have a tender spot in my heart. Im just joking! Anyhow back to Cam...

Cameron is a 2022 Simpson County Academy Senior. Her hobbies are snap chatting her friends, being a social butterfly and running track for her school. She works for one of Mendenhall's local coffee shop Beans and sprouts. If you get the chance and ever down in Simpson County try the hot 16oz Sprout I personally highly recommend it, just maybe she will serve you. Her blonde personality will for sure have you laughing, but her smile will make you smile too. 

When Cameron and I were chit chatting about what style and types of backgrounds she wanted for her session, she was set on visiting the big town of Laurel Mississippi. This town has everything a photographer could dream of. Down town city lights, tons of brick walk ways, city parks with bridges I could just go on and on about this place. We loved it! I texted my husband during the shoot to let him know I would be moving. lol. This wasn't my first time to photograph a client here but it was the first time for me to find some of the locations that I did.  

While helping Cameron put her outfits together for her photo session, she went to a few of our local shops to grab things to complete her look. Like her black hat from 49 North in Magee, Ms that use to be La Crema. Oh, and she got her leopard outfit from there as well. I always recommend my girls to bring 4/5 outfits with all of their changes of jewelry in small zip lock bags so that we aren't pulling necklaces and earring apart, and she did just that. Don't forget neat hats, jackets or even a scarf accessories can create a totally different look. Lets not for SHOES! To complete her leopard outfit and her walking in her city lights photo those amazing black booties come from one of our other local shops here in Mendenhall Darling and Distressed which is located in Mendenhall Mercantile. Our little Simpson County small towns have several of boutiques that offer amazing clothing lines that would help your Senior set his or her look apart from other photo sessions. Come on down to visit one of the best Central Mississippi small towns with a lot of personality. I absolute loved being Cameron's Senior Photographer.
